Good with small animals and plays well with other children.

…these are but a few words that do not describe me. I am a 20 something year old person that enjoys ranting about food nearly as much as I enjoy eating it.

I like owning an assortment of cookbooks, small jars with cork stoppers, bacon, Jay Rayner, Charlie Brooker, Yahtzee, this guy, anyone who writes/talks/generally get’s on like a grumpy old man, spice racks, being right, long and detailed conversations about food, black pepper, a well placed doily and a competitive game of Boggle.

I dislike overly clean people, people who don’t like onions, people who dislike a food before they’ve tried it, people who know more about food then me, people who eat really slowly and judge me when I do not, being (caught when I’m) wrong, the word “delicious” being used to describe anything that’s not edible, failing, realising that I fail alot, curly parsley, green peppers,  Doctors who stress that they are called Doctor Douchehead  and not Mr Douchehead and that they didn’t spend 7 years in medical school to be called Mr Anything (Oh really? I  would have thought you spent 7 years  in medical school to learn medicine and not to enable you to spend your days belittling  customer care representatives who are just doing their bloody minimum payed jobs….sorry, I digress, where was I? Oh, yes.. ) and BBQ sauce, I don’t like that either.

I have to say that this is the best about page I’ve seen, and trust me I’ve looked at a looooot of them in the past while. I love the voice that comes out in your words…laughing over here in Canada, feeling like I know you well. Keep up being you! (oh, and I found you after going to bed trying to figure out what I was going to do with all the vegetables in my fridge and then dreamt about Bottom of the Fridge Stew – who knew?!)
